About Chet Tailor

Experience designer · UX designer · UK

What I do

Designing digital products has taught me that great user experiences are created through better decisions, not just better interfaces.

Today I help organisations create products that are more human, more accessible and more sustainable, improving both customer outcomes and business performance.

I enjoy mentoring designers, influencing product direction and helping teams embed inclusive design from the outset rather than treating it as an afterthought.

I believe the future of digital products lies where people, planet and commercial success reinforce one another.

Industries and clients

Telecom (Three), automotive (Mitsubishi Motors UK, Jaguar Land Rover), consumer goods (Nestlé, Reckitt, Pernod Ricard), gaming (EA Sports), retail pharmacy (Walgreens Boots Alliance), and public transport (Translink, Northern Ireland).

How I work

  • Start from evidence, analytics, research, or a structured audit when data is thin
  • Prototype early so stakeholders can feel the product, not just review slides
  • Design for accessibility and real-world constraints from day one
  • Communicate in business language, outcomes, risk, and trade-offs, not just pixels
